What do I need to rent a vehicle?

A valid driver’s license, a passport or national ID, being at least 21 years old and paying for your booking (PayPal, Zelle, Cash App or bank transfer). A refundable security deposit is registered at pick-up.

What is the minimum age to rent?

The minimum age is 21, with at least 2 years of driving experience. Additional drivers must meet the same requirements.

Can I drive with a foreign license?

Yes. Valid foreign licenses are accepted in the Dominican Republic for tourists during their stay (up to 90 days).

Which payment methods do you accept?

We accept PayPal (balance or debit/credit card), Zelle, Cash App and bank transfer to our accounts at Banco Popular and Banreservas.

How do I pay with Zelle or Cash App?

In the payment step choose Zelle or Cash App. Send the total in US dollars (USD) via Zelle to 646-721-8527 or via Cash App to $MarinoDeLeonDiaz, add your booking code in the note and upload a screenshot of the payment. We confirm in under 2 hours.

Do you offer long-rental discounts?

Yes. Rentals of 10 days or more get an automatic 10% discount and FREE delivery at any airport in the country.

How does paying by bank transfer work?

In the payment step you will see our bank details. Make the transfer including your booking code and send us the receipt. We hold the vehicle for 24 hours and confirm in under 2 hours.

Can I see prices in pesos or euros?

Yes. Use the currency selector in the menu to see prices in USD, DOP or EUR. Conversions are for reference; you are charged in the currency of your payment method.

Is there a security deposit?

Yes, a refundable US$300 deposit that is returned in full when you drop off the vehicle in the same condition.

What does the insurance include?

Every rental includes basic liability insurance and 24/7 roadside assistance. You can add full coverage, with a US$1,000 deductible, for US$15 per day.

What should I do after an accident or breakdown?

Stay calm, get to safety and message or call us on WhatsApp at +1 (646) 721-8527. We will guide you step by step and send a replacement vehicle if needed.

Do you deliver to the airport?

Yes, at every airport in the country: Santiago (STI), Puerto Plata (POP), Santo Domingo (SDQ and JBQ), Punta Cana (PUJ), La Romana (LRM) and Samaná (AZS). Airport delivery is FREE on rentals of 10 days or more. We also deliver to homes or hotels in the Cibao region.

What are the pick-up and return hours?

We are always open! You can pick up and return your vehicle 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

What if I return the vehicle late?

You get a 1-hour grace period. After that we charge proportionally per hour, up to one extra day. Let us know on WhatsApp if you are running late.

Can I cancel my booking?

Yes. Cancellation is free up to 48 hours before pick-up. After that, the equivalent of one rental day is retained.

Is mileage unlimited?

Yes, all our rentals include unlimited mileage so you can explore the whole country.

How much fuel does the vehicle come with?

It is delivered with the same level it must be returned with. If you prefer not to worry, add the “Prepaid full tank” extra.

Can I travel anywhere in the country?

Yes, you can drive anywhere in the country. Taking the vehicle abroad or on a ferry is not allowed.
